- Ken called the meeting to order, Janet led the Pledge of Allegiance, .Ken had the thought of the day from Arthur C. Clarke. The guests today were Steve Solberg, Rotary Club of Reno, NV and our speaker Cheryl Rebottaro.
7:35am Announcements & Club Business
- Ken reviewed several of the items from last week’s Area Presidents meeting:
- December 3 is Ed Jellen’s next cabinet meeting
- District 5170 is sponsoring a trip to Monterrey, Mexico to help in distributing wheels chairs
- There is a Rotary trip to India to distribute polio vaccine drops to children
- There is an initiative to remove Rotaract from Rotary Youth Services Avenue of Service.
- Carol announced the Santa Shelves boutique fundraiser at Felton Fire this coming Saturday
- Cheryl announced the Scotts Valley Poker Ride also this Saturday
- Saturday at Felton Safeway is the annual Turkey fundraiser for Valley Churches

- Charlie imposed various fines on members with Thanksgiving Day topics and questions.
7:50 am Speaker – Area7 Assistant Governor Cheryl Rebottaro
- Cheryl is the past-president of the Scotts Valley Rotary and although some of our members know here, it was good for the whole club to hear from her. She is a long-time SLV resident. She gave us insight into her life’s path to the office of Rotary Area Assistant Governor.
