This Week at Newark Rotary
April 23 - 29, 2018

Club Assembly

This week, our meeting will be dedicated to club business. This is the last scheduled Assembly for the current Rotary year. We will be reviewing the past year, assessing where we are, and looking to an even brighter future as we begin setting the stage for President Elect John Bernard's year as President.

As a business meeting, all members are expected to attend!

Meeting time: 12 noon, Tuesday, April 24
Location: Bistro 880 in the Newark DoubleTree Hotel.

Last Week at Newark Rotary

John Bernard, The Intrepid
Lover of All Things Wild and Rare

In order to prepare for his year as President of our club, John traveled to Africa to gain proper perspective. Interestingly, 5 Big plus 5 Ugly plus 5 Quiet amounted to more than the number of members who attended the meeting. Even so, John took us on a wild adventure, reliving his amazing adventure in Africa.

Below is John and Judy's first, and perhaps closest, encounter with the wildlife of Tanzania. Or was that a Zambian moth?
