On May 19, 2018, six months after the City of Morgan Hill opened two new parks that included the Rotary Peace Bridge and Rotary Slide, Rotarians were once again working to enhance those parks. On bright sunny Saturday morning, volunteers from the Rotary Club of Morgan Hill were busy planting trees which the Club purchased alongside the Rotary Peace Bridge on Third Street.

Juan and Sergio, members of the City's park department, joined the Rotarians to plant Prunus Caroliniana, a type of evergreen tree.(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prunus_caroliniana). In addition to planting trees, the volunteers also picked up litter by the Rotary Peace Bridge and Rotary Slide.
