April 22nd was a day of work for the Rotary Club of Morgan Hill.  The club provided labor for two projects that day.  The larger project of the two involved teaming with Rebuilding Together to help repair a 1500 square foot Morgan Hill residence which is being utilized by Adobe Services to provide housing for six previously homeless women.  Work included building a carport, painting the outside of the structure and general cleanup.  The carport was a challenging task, but in the end a great improvement to the property.  Rotary provided seventeen of the twenty-six volunteers.  The Rotary club of Morgan Hill has now worked on two Rebuilding Together projects.  Expect more such efforts in the future.
The Area Six Rotary workday was also on April 22nd.  Four Morgan Hill Rotarians helped on a project at The San Benito County Historical Park.  The Rotary Club of Hollister chaired the day.  Work consisted of planting, clean up and refurbishing an existing barbeque.  Many hands were available for this project.  President Theresa Kiernan was grateful our club could provide support.
Hands on work projects are a great way for the club to give to the community.  Thanks to the many volunteers on April 22nd.
