The Rotary Club of Morgan Hill honored twelve local students with Outstanding Student Awards at a February 15th awards luncheon.  Ten of the students are middle school or high school students.  Two elementary school students, Adrianna Saffell and Layla Goulter, were included as they were not present during a similar elementary school luncheon in October.

Teachers in their respective schools choose the students.  Criteria for the awards include academics, leadership and character.  The students each spoke and they were all impressive.  Career goals included cardiologist, geneticist, veterinarian and computer scientist.  The students are all high achievers and it is easy to see why they received the awards.  Students received a $50 scholarship and a certificate honoring them as an outstanding student.
