Tonya Veitch is a Bay Area native from Sunnyvale. She attended San Jose State University for her bachelor’s degree in Health Services Administration and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Urban Planning. She joined the County of Santa Clara in 2011 working to promote healthy and sustainable communities through projects focused on policy, improving the built environment, and increasing equitable opportunities for physical activity and active transportation. Tonya is currently a Sustainability Analyst for the County of Santa Clara Office of Sustainability and brings a passion for active and sustainable communities, along with a background in public health and community engagement.
