ImageSpeaking with us today about Next Stage Productions (formerly know as: Stagebridge Santa Cruz) is Lynn Knudsen where she is Managing Director. Next Stage is a theatre and performing arts collaborative focusing on the aging population, designed “for, by and of” seniors over 50 years of age. Their goal is to demonstrate in action the many ways in which elders can improve their quality of life, thereby enriching our culture and community. Their Mission statement reads:“To provide affordable public access to educational, healthcare, civic opportunities and benefits, by participating in and enjoying theatre and performing arts.” Training programs are held year round in community settings and at Cabrillo Extension.  Gail Greenwood favored us with I Cain't Say No, a song from the musical play Oklahoma! written by composer Richard Rodgers and lyricist/librettist Oscar Hammerstein II.
