Rotarians Volunteer and Promote at Lantzville Minetown Days

Minetown day in Lantzville is a day for the people of Lantzville to remember the mining heritage of the area.  It is also chance for the community to come together and have some fun.
The Lantzville Rotary Club members were very busy.  Some members gave out water and popcorn to the children in the community and answered questions from the public about was is Rotary and what do they do?  Others were driving the hay wagon around, and judging bicycles.  While yet others were cutting up melon for the watermelon eating contests and getting the nail driving contest ready.
Then it was on to judging the contests, and waiting for a chicken to poop.   The members had a great time teasing each other and interacting with the public
