Local Projects
Eagan Rotary has provided funds for several local projects over the years such as the Eagan Fire Safety Trailer, the Eagan Rotary Band Shell, and equipment for The Open Door, our Eagan food shelf.  The Rotary Club of Eagan awards community service grants each November to local non-profit organizations for special projects and programs. Since our club’s inception in 1997, we’ve provided over $1 million in grant funding to organizations in our community.

Ethics Workshop
Since 1992, Eagan Rotarians have conducted Ethics Workshops for Eagan High School students, preparing young men and women for the ethical dilemmas they will likely face during their personal and professional lives. Beginning in 2008, a team of Eagan Rotarians initiated an Ethics Workshop Expansion plan.  As of 2014, this team has taken our Ethics Workshop to more than 2,500 students in thirty high schools across the state. The program continues to grow, working through local community Rotary clubs and their local high schools.  The success of this expansion program has been validated by thousands of very positive student and Rotarian evaluations over the past six years!

Community Recognition
Each year, our Rotary club recognizes exceptional people in Eagan who are teachers, public safety officers and veterans.  We honor them by highlighting the best and the finest with a separate day to honor each group.  At our annual Gala we also honor an Eagan Rotary Citizen of the Year for his or her contributions to our community.
