Food Fest:  Tysons Rotary’s Laurie Kent and Tyra Garlington braved the early shift at the Rise Against Hunger event in McLean on Saturday, Nov. 2.  The goal was 100,000 meals packed by each of three shifts.  Their first shift exceeded expectations!  Lively music set the pace - and the joy in this giving community spanned the generations of volunteers.  On Nov. 5, these 300,000 meals left on an ocean freighter bound for Yemen.
