Carol and Bob spent two weeks at a rural school in South Africa constructing a library for primary school students.  This was a cooperative effort between Rotary Books for the World and Kidlinks World (of Madison).  Kidlinks sponsored the project under the leadership of Michelle Storm who raised the funds necessary to ship books from the Johannesburg Books Processing Center to Kei Mouth, SA and to purchase materials needed to build library shelves, tables, and benches.  This project received a 2011 grant from the Madison Breakfast Rotary Foundation.

While in Johannesburg, Carol and Bob met with officers of the Rotary Club of Three Rivers, Shabe Mofokeng, President, and Mgezi Mazibuko, Past President.  We reviewed the activities of our Rotary Foundation Grant and discussed the possibility of providing dictionaries for the schools in Kei Mouth, South Africa.  Michelle Storm will follow up with the Three Rivers club and will manage the delivery of the dictionaries if she is able to secure funding.
