Making a Difference in Nuestro Mundo, Our World

Caroline is a current dual language teacher and graduate student who was a dual language student in her elementary years, in Germany. Later she was a Rotary exchange student to Germany for a year as a high school junior. She came back for her senior year at West before going to Beloit college where she became an exchange student to Ecuador. After graduating from college, she became a high school Spanish teacher, then a middle school dual language teacher, then an elementary dual language teacher. Two things she can say about this work: “you are always certain that your professional efforts have purpose beyond a salary, and the work stays interesting. It's a community to search out if you want to make a difference in the world.”
