Ted Carroll, president of Leadership Greater Hartford spoke at the Hartford Rotary Club.  He shared with the group the commonality they share in the “Service Above Self” mission statement that bonds all Rotarians, as a similar creed that he shares at LGH.  He explained what it means to be a true leader, and serving the community with projects that help foster civility, that in turn create a positive influence for change in the Hartford area. Developing and implementing leadership through collaborative relationships is what Mr. Carrol explained to the group he likes to see, that brings positive outcomes. As he looked around the room at the members, he saw many familiar faces that have had the opportunity to work/collaborate with Mr. Carrol over the past 30 years.

The Rotary Club of Hartford is affiliated with Rotary International, a worldwide service organization that unites business and professional leaders to provide humanitarian services, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build and promote goodwill and peace throughout the world.

Next meeting will be September 8th, at the Hartford Club, 46 Prospect Street, Hartford.
