Guest Speaker - James Woulfe

As reSET’s Public Policy & Impact Investing Specialist, James has the opportunity to experience the power of social enterprise in many different ways. Through his work with the Social Enterprise Investment Fund (SEIF), James interacts directly with social entrepreneurs at the seed stage, helping to provide them with funding to launch and scale their businesses. James’s interactions with early stage social entrepreneurs also gives him a unique perspective as he researches and helps develop policy initiatives to support Connecticut’s social enterprise sector at both the State and Federal level. As reSET’s liaison to elected leaders and policy-makers, James is responsible for representing the interests of social entrepreneurs across Connecticut, and understanding the unique issues they face as they launch and scale their businesses.

James came to reSET as a legal intern to research social enterprise legislation, and never left! He has a B.A in Business Administration, and a B.S. in Communications from Eastern Connecticut State University. He is currently in his third year at Quinnipiac University School of Law.
