This Friday's Flags For Heroes Schedule:
• 11:30a - 12:00p - Arrive at the Maine Mall Food Court and buy your own lunch. (Come early as there may be lines.)
• 11:30a - 12:30p - There will be a designated area for Rotarians and guests to eat.
• 12:30p Sharp! - Everyone is invited to walk down to the Flags for Heroes display (We must be on time.)
• 12:45p - Program starts
• 1:15p - Program concludes

SEADOG SOCIAL: Zach Newell reminds everyone that our club meeting next week will be attending a Portland Sea Dogs game on Thursday, September 14 @ 6:00pm at Hadlock Field. Use this link here to purchase tickets to attend the game. All ticket prices are $9 for section 212. Please purchase as many tickets as you would like and bring friends and family to the game. We have 50 seats allotted for the game but can get more added without a problem. You may also purchase tickets by clicking here.
Barn Fest - Community Volunteering Event! Amy Chipman is looking for more volunteers to help at a really interesting event: "Barn Fest - A family-friendly fundraiser to save the 100-year-old barn at Hurricane Valley Farm". It is organized by the Falmouth Land Trust and our friends at Cultivating Community who own the barn. The barn needs repairs so that more people can grow their food year-round. The program trains farmers who have migrated to Maine from Africa and other countries, and currently 50 families grow their own food on the farm.

COASTAL CLEANING: Ellen Niewoehner has volunteer opportunities through our Environmental committee. We have a Coastal Clean-up day on September 20th in conjunction with the Portland Sunrise group, tentatively 9am to noon. Rain day scheduled September 21st.
