About Skyline Interact Club

The Skyline Interact Club is a student run volunteer organization. Our mission is to educate and inspire youth to positively impact the world in both a local and international level.

Every month our members participate in 3-4 local service events, such as playing bingo with senior citizens, overseeing activities at the Hands-on-Museum, and clearing invasive species with the Nature Area Preservation of Ann Arbor. We also host our own service events, either independently such as our Halloween Party for the children of Mott's Children's Hospital, or with our adult sponsor organization Ann Arbor Rotary North, as during our annual dinner banquet for the Ron McDonald House residents.

The Interact Club hosts fundraiser's every two months in order to raise awareness and provide relief for global causes. Our most recent project was to donate to the organization A Lighter of Light, which uses environmentally friendly methods to bring lighting to impoverished areas of Southeast Asia. The fundraiser was a huge success as we raised over $230.00 for the organization. Currently we are working on raising funds to adopt a panda and benefit the World Wildlife Foundation.

Our club meets every other Thursdays after school. We discuss future events as well as plan for fundraiser's.
