On the first meeting of our New Year, we had the pleasure of welcoming an old friend. Bruce Dunbar, an Ann Arbor West Rotarian, shared highlights from his experiences flying vital supplies into Haiti. We would like to thank Bruce for sharing his time, talent and an excellent power point presentation with our club.
Rotary is like a classroom. Only those who are willing learners will move up. Membership in Rotary helps you to accept yourself, boost your confidence and change your life in a short time.We can promote membership by telling people that they can see a few things, or many things, that can change their life. They might have tried various other methods to find a meaning to life.
Rotary gives a ready-made formula. When no other way of reaching within worked, Rotary helps a person to effortless connect within themselves and find a new dimension of life. This is our unique selling point.Membership in Rotary has worked wonders for thousands. Its methods for a successful life are proven for the past hundred years. It will work now for any adult willing to be a useful volunteer for uplifting the people who need help the most. Rotary has helped people to accept the truth about themselves. Membership in Rotary changes life by helping the individual to concentrate on becoming who he or she really wants to be.

We're pleased to announce that the First Annual Phil Zepeda Invitational will take place on Saturday, May 30, 9:00 am at the Washtenaw Course at the Polo Fields in Ypsilanti. That's only 214 days away! Thanks to Chairs Matt Copeland and Keith Krings for chairing this event which promises to be a day full of fun, fellowship and an exciting new fundraiser for our club.
STARDATE 28 MARCH 2015: You unlock this door with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension - a dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind. You are about to boldly go where no Rotarian has gone before - to Space, the final frontier.
Yeah, I mixed up about five different television shows there but the end result is the same: you are invited to embrace your inner nerd, climb into your space cadet uniform and get LOST IN SPACE at our annual FUNdraiser on Saturday, March 28, 2015.
Full details will be released shortly but PLEASE mark your calendars, save the date and invite your friends and family to join us for this year's wild and crazy night of fun and fellowship.
