IN LOVING MEMORY- Lynn Ratzell
In memory of our President Lynn Ratzall.
Lynn was President of Rotary Club of Nazareth.
Lynn was a dedicated Rotarian and beloved President of the Rotary Club of Nazareth, who passed away on Friday, May 23, 2025.
Lynn embodied the Rotary motto, Service Above Self." Through visionary leadership, unwavering commitment, and a compassionate heart, he enriched not only our club, but the wider community. Whether organizing service projects, mentoring young leaders, or simply offering a kind word, Lynn left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Lynn Ratzall was a friend, a guide, and a shining example of Rotary values in action.
We extend our deepest gratitude for Lynn's service and carry forward the torch he so graciously held.
May his memory be a blessing and a call to continue the good work he so passionately believed in.
Our prayers are with Kathy Heller and her families.
Guest Speaker Claude Shappelle

Claude devoted 35 years of service as a Teacher and Administrator in the Nazareth Area School District.
Kathy Heller remembers Claude doing a workshop on memory with the teachers in the Nazareth Area School District.
He related numbers with letters, representing different items, such as- preparing a shopping list. He gave MOW to represent mayonnaise, and the visual example was lawn Mower cutting. Different members in our meeting gave a grocery item to relate the PEG WORDS (1-9).
By the end of the workshop, we remembered the nine items on the shopping list.

UPCOMING DATES:
Saturday June 7- Moravian Historical Society Craft Fair 10am-4pm @ The Whitefield House Museum- 214 E Center St; Nazareth, PA. Come participate in our Rubber Duck activities for kids of all ages! Tickets will be available to purchase at $10.00 per ticket.
Tuesday June 10- Monthly meeting at Rose Inn Dining Room @7:30am. Speaker will be Isabelle Resende, NASD Superintendent.
Tuesday June 17- Board Meeting at 7:00pm at The Memorial Library of Nazareth and Vicinity.
June 21-25- Rotary International Conference in Calgary, Canada. President elect Jane and her husband John Meckes, our newest member will be attending a 1-of-a-kind event and a time to experience The Magic All Around.
