     Change- Over Presentation
Immediate Past- President, Kathy Heller presents our 2022-23 President, Holly Bennett with her lit up gavel to light the way to Imagine the 7 Focuses of Rotary, designated by the vase holding the 7 roses each symbolizing the 7 Focuses of Rotary. Our Nazareth Colonial's Namesake is Barony of the Rose.

Barony of the Rose- in memory of Helen Ziegler
This issue is in memory of Rotarian, Helen Ziegler,93, who peacefully passed away, April 23, 2022. Barony of the Rose Sale and Adopt-a-Highway cleanup, at 89, were among her favorite service projects. She remembered, a NAHS Interact student, saying, "Wow, I hope I have your ambition and energy displayed to us when we are your age!"

Our President's Message:
A Kenyan proverb reads, "Sticks in a bundle are unbreakable".
The Nazareth Rotary Club is unbreakable as we worked together throughout the summer months to inspire and serve the Nazareth Community.
Duck Race
July 16, 2022
In July, our Club held the first annual duck race at the Nazareth Borough Park. the event was the first of it's kind in our community. It attracted people of all ages to join in the fun. The event was organized and led by past-president, Kathy Heller and was implemented with the help of fellow Rotarians. The duck race raised over $3000, which will benefit the Nazareth YMCA, The Nazareth Food Bank, and The Memorial Library of Nazareth and Vicinity.
Shelter Box USA Project
In early August, our club advocated for the Shelter Box Project at the Memorial Library of Nazareth and Vicinities World's Fair Celebration. This event was a combination of the library summer reading program, Journey Around the World
The World's Fair event was special for our club, as the library recognized our club along with District 7430 for funding the summer-long literacy curriculum. The impact of these grants reached over 400 children who registered to participate in the program. Journey Around the World included over 30 special programs, 37 drop-in story times, end resulted in the circulation of over 1,212 children's books over an 8-week period during the summer months. Later, in the month of August, our club returned to it's meeting home at Moravian Hall Square for the first time since 2015.
