Welcome Newest Nazareth MemberWelcome to Jane Meckes - the newest member of our club!  Jane has jumped right into service by creating the Rubber Duckie gift baskets, Signage Board for the Kellyn Foundation Mixer and she is eager to use her talents for other projects to come! Jane is a retired educator from the Nazareth Area School District sponsored by ADG, Kathy Heller.

Sailing in SeptemberThere are many exciting things happening and we hope to see you this September! On the 14th at 7:30 am on Zoom - Guest speaker Ann Richards from Northampton Community College will share about computer science and educational trends On Saturday, the 18th - our club will promote the Rotary values of service and education at the Farmer's Market. Showcasing the Shelter Box and a take home volcano experiment. Volunteers are needed so visit the EVENT page to sign up! Set up starts at 8:30 am and the market closes at 1PM. Sunday, September 26th a family friendly event at the home of Rotarian Lynn Ratzell - stay on "track" with a scavenger hunt and fellowship from 4 to 7pm. Contact President Kathy for more information about these activities. Looking ahead to October 2nd - get ready to touch a truck and help eradicate polio!

Service through Sharing Weekend Food Package Deliveries20 bags of food supplies were delivered to the Y in Nazareth and Shaffer Elementary on March 19th for families experiencing food insecurity. We are so pleased to have used the final dollars from the District 7430 Emergency Grant fund. Club members provided soup and granola bars to complement the chili and rice in each bag. This is another example of a caring community connection. The wheel of Rotary continues to offer positive support to those around us.

Welcome to the Nazareth Rotary Club!Welcome to Nazareth Rotary Club! Our wheel-house is service! Serving one another in friendship, being benevolent to our community, extending peace and understanding through our global network and to grow ourselves. Rotary has many doors to opportunities and this year, we celebrate our capacity to extend in new and impactful ways! Think Tuesday! We meet on the 2nd Tuesday morning at 7:30AM. Our club members connect to enjoy fellowship, education and service each month - check out the event schedule! Our Board leaders meets on the 3rd Tuesday to affirm plans for the club to engage in local service and support to be People of Action! Each month contains opportunities to connect in fellowship and service. These are often weekend activities. We partner with Nazareth Area School District to sponsor two Interact clubs at the Middle, Intermediate School and High School - these clubs instill service and leadership opportunities for young people. We hope to find family friendly activities to promote community service and fun throughout the year. Want to find out more?
