Representative Marcy Tuepel

 

State Representative Marcy Tuepel joined us for breakfast and addressed the Club on the state of the Commonwealth. She noted that her district will be changing soon due to re-districting and her number of constituents will be reduced to about 60K instead of 70. Marcy is one of only three women in the House of Representative and she hopes that more women will run in future elections to gain better equality in government. She lamented on the slow economic growth in Pennsylvania which she believes is caused by our high corporate taxes and unfriendly regulations. We thank Marcy for updating us on current events in Pennsylvania government and her dedicated service.
