Harleysville Rotary Presents Check for Nigerian Water Project

 

At our regular meeting on November 23, PDG Frank Romano and President Shushma Patel, presented a check for $60,000 to Drs. Emenike and Chide Ukazim to be used for the drilling of a new well and water tower for a new school under construction that the two professors at MCCC are supporting in their homeland of Nigeria. A new connecting road has also been built and is a first for the small village were they both grew up. The well will save a long hike through wet grass for water each morning.
