Hannah is the Communications and Event Manager for Access Services, a regional nonprofit organization. In this role she oversees internal and external communications as well as supports agency events. Hannah has a BS in Business Administration and MS in Organizational Leadership from Cairn University. |

Montgomery County Commissioners

Dr. Valerie Arkoosh was elected as Chair of the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners on November 17, 2016, succeeding former Commission Chair Josh Shapiro. In November 2015, Dr. Arkoosh won election to a full four-year term and served as Commission Vice Chair until her election as Chair. Through her significant leadership of managing complex organizations in crisis, Dr. Arkoosh has brought innovative reforms to county governance while ensuring an effective, transparent, and fiscally responsible government. Most recently, Dr. Arkoosh has been at the forefront of mobilizing testing, health, public information, and other resources and services during the COVID-19 pandemic emergency. She has also led the efforts to eliminate street homelessness of veterans, streamline delivery of human services, combat the opioid overdose epidemic, increase repairs for County roads and bridges, and new miles of trails and open space across the County. As a resident of Montgomery County, Dr. Arkoosh brings a wealth of knowledge and vital skillset to the Board. Kenneth E. Lawrence Jr., was appointed by the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas to the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners to fill out the term of newly-elected Attorney General Josh Shapiro. On February 2, 2017, he was elected as Vice Chair of the Board of the Commissioners. An avid health advocate and user and promoter of the County’s parks and trails, he was the second person countywide to complete the Montco Trail Challenge. Commissioner Lawrence was elected to serve as Chair of the Montgomery County Board of Elections on March 16, 2017 and works closely with community leaders and organizations to ensure fair and safe elections. Paul Nye, satellite club member and Executive Director of this non-profit organization needs our help! Their "Encore" location on Alumni Avenue in Harleysville has been closed during Covid and is just getting back up and running with limited services/staff. They are trying to "freshen up" the interior rooms with some much needed paint. Due to limited funds and staff, Paul's looking for painters to volunteer. Paint supplies will be provided... just wear your "painting" clothes! Dates are Oct 30-31st, Nov 2, 6, 7, & 9th. Please contact Paul for more details and times, etc... |

Garden of Health November Thanksgiving Food Drive Nov 16th: Well, Carol and her team of gardeners are at it again with a plan to provide Thanksgiving dinner (to be cooked at recipient's homes) to those in need. We are asking for a commitment of a meal bag which should include these items in them below. We would like to have them dropped off at the warehouse by November 16th. We are hoping to do a total of 150 packages for Thanksgiving. Here's the list: - $25 gift card to a grocery store to purchase Turkey - Gluten Free stuffing |

The Reverend Charles W. Quann has served as the Pastor of the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Spring House, PA since April 1986. Since his calling to The Bethlehem Baptist Church (a Christ Centered, Multi-Cultural Church), Pastor Quann has directed the development of numerous ministries. Reverend Quann was born and raised in Philadelphia. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Eastern University, with additional studies at Eastern (Palmer) Theological Seminary in King of Prussia. Pastor and Mrs.Tanya Quann are the proud parents of four sons; Darrell, Todd, Marc, and Branden. They are also proud grandparents. |
