Live meeting in Lansdale tomorrow
Jun. 03, 2020
Yes, that's right... the meeting next week is going to be held, in person with social distancing and mask wearing, at the Garden of Health's newly rented warehouse, located at the Lansdale Business Center, 8th and Cannon Avenue in Lansdale on Thursday, NOT Wednesday. This is a special event to promote the Garden of Health's new warehouse, thanks to grants and contributions. |

Jun. 04, 2020 7:45 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
Carol Bauer has some very exciting news. The foundation has rented a warehouse for deliveries and storage of tractor trailer loads of donated foods. Carol can finally have her house back and not have to run the operation/storage out of it! Congrats to The Garden of Health!
Our "big check" made out to the Garden for our club's donations/grants of about $13,000 will be on site and presented to Carol and Chuck from our club that morning for the photo session. The meeting will take place at 8 AM, with social distancing and masks of course! A ZOOM meeting will also be available for anyone not able to attend in person.
Carol's other exciting news was that the Commonwealth of PA has awarded "the garden" $128K of grant funds which will be used to purchase a new van, a refrigerated truck, and a "plate jack". Congratulations to Carol and her team for a job well done! |

This will be a clean up the trails day at their property. As many of you know, our Club Foundation donated the funds to Sebastian Riding to purchase a mechanical horse whose nickname is "Rotary". This organization helps mentally and physically challenged people by offering theraputic horseback riding. Sebastian Riding Associates is located at 3589 Water Street Road just off North Grange Road in Evansburg State Park, Collegeville. Wear boots, old clothes, and bring work gloves. |
