MEETING LOCATION
CATHEDRAL CHURCH PARKING

The Cathedral is located on 321 Wyandotte Street (Route 378) just south of the Hill-to-Hill Bridge in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. See map below.

Our meeting takes place in the Dining Room off of Sayre Hall.

From President Rodney's prior post:

"Many of you know that there are two parking lots at the Cathedral, one off Wyandotte (usually called the upper lot) and off 3rd Street (the lower lot). Several spaces are marked “NB” and are reserved for New Bethany. These are located closer to the New Bethany buildings. Please try to avoid these spots, though it is unlikely that many will be needed early in the morning.  Access to an elevator is available from the lower lot should you need it. You may also continue to park in the lot on 4th and Wyandotte and take the short walk to the Cathedral."

Parking

The Cathedral has 2 lots. The upper lot, with access from Wyandotte Street and the lower lot with access from 3rd Street. The lower lot is encouraged and necessary for those who need elevator access to the Cathedral and Sayre Hall. The elevator is located to left as you enter from the lower lot. Take this to the first floor for access to the Cathedral and Sayre Hall.

Please view exiting/entrance signs when leaving. Right turns are required when exiting both upper and lower Cathedral lots.

THIS WEEK'S SPEAKER
DG MARY COOK VISITS MSR

Morning Star Rotary welcomed District 7430 Governor Mary Cook for her official visit to Morning Star this past Thursday, September 18, 2025.  Mary is a four-time past president of the Collegeville Rotary.  She shared insights on Rotary Leadership development and engagement and spoke about Rotary International's Action Plan, key district initiatives including impact clubs and fundraising efforts, and upcoming events such as conferences and celebrations for centennial clubs.

MSR WELCOMES NEW MEMBER

At our September 18, 2025 meeting, Morning Star Rotary welcomed Fred Rooney as a new member.  Fred was inducted by DG Mary Cook during her Official Visit to our club.  Fred is a lawyer who created the first lawyer incubator program in New York City in 2007 which aimed to provide affordable legal services and training for young lawyers. The program evolved from a pilot project to a successful model that inspired similar programs across the country.  Fred has extensive international experience with legal education programs, including his work with Fulbright and various incubator initiatives around the world.

Welcome Fred to our Morning Star family!

Our Celtic Classic 5K Race is this Saturday! We have sponsors, we have runners, now we need volunteers to help with setup and clean up, registration, food service, and course marshals.  A volunteer sign up sheet will be available at the club meeting on Thursday, and I would ask that everyone available sign up to ensure a successful event.  If you are unable to attend the club meeting, you can contact Tom Hartzell to advise him you will volunteer.  Otherwise, you can expect a phone call asking for your help.  Thanks in advance.
