JUN 25 MSR OUTDOOR Kick-Out Tailgate and Club Changeover
IN LIEU OF our MSR morning club meeting, this Thursday will be a combo Kick-Out Tailgate changeover meeting OUTDOORS to recognize Mike Long’s leadership and club accomplishments for the Rotary year, welcome incoming President John Oesmann.  DGE Janet Kolepp will preside over the induction of the MSR 2020-2021 Club Officers and Board Members.
 
Come celebrate seeing our wonderful Rotary friends in person!
 
Maybe we’ll “toss the gavel” along Past Presidents, with a disinfecting wipe between each?

BASD Education Center parking lot – keeping at least 6 feet distant!

BYO food & beverage and your masks!
 
Guidelines: Please park 6 feet apart and observe Social Distancing guidelines!
 
Music is planned, radio/boom box or similar source.

ROTARY FACE MASKS!
Morning Star Rotary has ordered Rotary Face Masks in two designs, for sale to club members. We hope to receive them in time for the club Kickout Tailgate this Thursday evening – fingers crossed!
 
 
They will be available for purchase at $7 each. (The club is covering tax and shipping.)
 
In addition to keeping people safe, they are a great way to make Rotary more visible in the community.

PAYMENTS TO MORNING STAR
MSR MEMBERS,
 
As the 2019-20 Rotary year wraps up and 2020-21 begins, payments of various types may be coming in – Happy Dollars, Dues, etc. To help me, as Treasurer, process the money as you intend, please indicate what your payment is for. Checks may be made payable to Morning Star Rotary.
 
For payments to the club, options include
  • Bring check or cash to our Kickout Tailgate this Thursday evening. (If cash, please put it in an envelope with your name and what it’s for.)
  • Mail a check to my attention: Jean Searfoss, MSR Treasurer 1409 Bogie Ave, Wescosville, PA 18106. For it to count in 2019-20, need it in time to deposit by June 30, please.
  • Pay online at www.morningstarrotary.org. Use any debit or credit card - you do not need a PayPal account. This gets a little tricky because there’s a specific place for Dues.
    • Happy Dollars/Miscellaneous – Click the Donate button near the top of the home page. After you input the amount, on the next screen under the amount click “Write a note” and indicate what it’s for. Then fill in your contact info and card number, etc.
    • Dues
      • First log in in at  www.morningstarrotary.org – Member Login near top right. If you forgot your Login Name or password, click that on the Login screen and ClubRunner will send you an email at your email address in the system.
      • Scroll down the home page until you see the “Site Pages” section on the left. In that section, click “Pay Dues Online HERE”.
 
If you’d like to donate to the Rotary Foundation (of Rotary International) for 2019-20, before June 30 please go to https://my.rotary.org/en/rotary-direct to set up an online donation (annual, quarterly or monthly). Our club number is 26727. Your Rotary International Member Number can be found via the club website. After sign-in, click Member Area near top right on the home page. Then in the right column under Membership Manager, click Active Member List. Navigate to your name and click. Under your picture, next to the Personal tab click the “Rotary” tab and scroll to see your Rotary Member Number. If you have trouble, please contact Val Walk or Jean Searfoss.

Over 130 Rotarians have participated in one of our live Grow Rotary webinars over the last few weeks, thank you!  We hope that you have found these sessions informative and useful as we prepare for the new Rotary year.  
 
On Tuesday, Cecily Smith, Club Innovation Advocate, Zone 32 ARC, Rotary Metro NYC, gave an excellent presentation on fundraising in a virtual world.  If was full of ideas and tips.  If you have any questions for Cecily she can be reached via email rotary7230pr@gmail.com.
