JUN 11 MSR ZOOM MEETING
Please plan to join us for Rotary Fellowship Thursday at 7:30 am.

Our speaker will be Katarah Jordan, Executive Director of the Second Harvest food bank. She will speak to us on the scope, resources and needs of her organization as it applies to our Greater Lehigh Valley community.

It is a great opportunity for members who could not come to meetings in person to reconnect with Rotary friends! Especially for those "not early risers!"

We encourage everyone to bring a friend. As a member you can simply forward the email from Val with the access information.

To provide additional cyber security to our weekly Zoom meetings, we will not send the ZOOM info in the bulletin. Please check your email for information from Club Secretary, Val Walk for access to this meeting.
Visitors are welcome and encouraged. For access information, please reach out to Val, myself or any MSR member. Be happy to get you on board!

Hope to see you Thursday!

TEACHING TUESDAYS

Thanks again to everyone who attended last week's Training Tuesdays webinar The Power of OUR Rotary Foundation: To Do Good in the World, To Do More Good at Home.  Here is the link to the recording in case you missed it.

Join us for the final Training Tuesdays webinar of this series!
GROW ROTARY: Transforming Fundraising in our Virtual Rotary World, Tuesday, June 9, 7 PM.

Hosting a virtual fundraiser is a great option when in-person events aren't feasible.  Clubs in our district are canceling, re-thinking, and transforming their planned events.   Please join DGE Janet as she welcomes Rotary Zone 32 Innovative Club Advocate Cecily Smith to share virtual fundraising best practices and success stories!

Who can attend??? All D7430 Rotarians including current president, presidents-elect, club foundation chairs, event chairs, and anyone who wants to learn more about fundraising in a virtual world!

Please  take a moment before the webinar to complete a survey about club fundraising trends in our District. Responses are anonymous and will assist Cecily in her preparation for the webinar.

2020 OUR ROTARY FOUNDATION
May and June are traditionally the months that our club encourages all members to make a contribution to Rotary Foundation.  As with most activities in our life, this year is different.  Many members made recent contributions to the food drive, and we may be called upon to help financially with other needs in the community resulting from the current pandemic.

If you have not made a contribution during the current Rotary year (July 2019-current), we still encourage you to make a contribution to Rotary Foundation prior to June 30.

You can make a contribution on-line, through a regular deduction from a bank account, or by sending a check payable to “Rotary Foundation” to Tom Hartzell

Monies contributed through the $2/week program through March are being sent on to Rotary Foundation.

Contributions made during this Rotary year will be used to distribute grants to our District in three years.  A large grant received from the District this year enabled our club to help fund a backup generator at Victory House.

Checks payable to Rotary Foundation can be sent to Tom Hartzell, 1341 Biafore Avenue, Bethlehem, PA 18017.

Any questions, please refer to Tom Hartzell (thartzell@hmk-ins.com).

Thank you for your support and all you do for Rotary.
June 25 MSR Outdoor Combo Kick-Out Party and Club Changeover
MSR is tentatively planning a combo kickout party/changeover meeting outdoors to recognize Mike Long’s leadership and club accomplishments for the Rotary year, welcome incoming President John Oesmann and new board members, and celebrate seeing our wonderful Rotary friends in person!

Maybe we’ll “toss the gavel” along Past Presidents, with a disinfecting wipe between each?

We will socially distance, and the event is still subject to such a gathering being allowed in Northampton county at that time.

Thursday June 25, 2020 from 5:30 PM to ???
(Replaces the morning meeting that day.)

BASD Education Center parking lot – keeping at least 6 feet distant!
1516 Sycamore Street, Bethlehem, PA 18017

BYO food & beverage (and designated driver, if applicable …)

Music is planned, radio/boom box or similar source.

Fingers crossed that we’ll see you then!
