“Whatever Rotary means to us, to the world it will be known by the results it achieves.” Paul Harris 1914
Membership Chair Rick provided a quick review from the previous week:
- Membership growth, to be effective, should involve all of us.
- Simple analysis identifies only 44 of 61 members who are active at various levels with meetings and events.
- 59% of our members have 10 or more years of experience (38% of this group have over 20+ years).
- 70% of club is 60 years ‘plus’ (29% at 70 years ‘plus’) – keep in mind….
- Dues paying membership over past 5 years averaged about 55.
Conclusion: it would be advised that our recruitment efforts increase so we can maintain our steady membership totals as our club continues to age.
