Liz highlighted the declining confidence levels among girls and the increasing rates of sadness and hopelessness, emphasizing the need for programs like Girls on the Run. She shared statistics on the program's impact on participants' confidence and mental health, as well as its focus on building healthy relationships and promoting physical activity. The presentation also covered the program's structure, including its seasonal format and reliance on volunteer coaches.
