At our September 26, 2024 club meeting, Jessica Entwhistle, Director of the Refugee Community Center in Allentown spoke to our members about the work of her organization.  View her presentation Here.

The Refugee Community Center functions as a safe space for new refugee and asylum neighbors to find hospitality, connection and friendship. Our work focuses on adult ESOL education, intentional children’s programming, advocacy and hospitality.

"Our mission is to welcome refugees who are living in the Lehigh Valley; extending hospitality and friendship as we build community together."
