THIS WEEK'S SPEAKER
TAKE A BREAK!
BETHLEHEM PR SISTER CITY

At our May 15, 2025 meeting we welcomed Raymond Santiago, Executive Director of the Lehigh Valley Hispanic Center.  Raymond spoke to our members about the City of Bethlehem's recently formalized sister city relationship with Patillas, Puerto Rico.  This partnership aims to strengthen ties between the two communities through various initiatives, including cultural celebrations and exchange programs.
YOUTH SERVICES OPPORTUNITIES

Our Rotary Exchange Student Antek's host family has a full house May 27 - June 1 and thought it'd be a great opportunity for Antek to hang out with another American family. Can anyone welcome Antek to their home for these few days? Please contact Jennifer if interested.

Camp Neidig's BBQ and end-of-camp show is at the camp in Douglassville on Monday, June 16th at 6:00 PM.  Buy your ticket here
TREES!

For everyone - even if you can't plant one of the tree saplings that MSR Rotarian Taylor Breinich from Bartlett Tree Experts gifted our members, post a picture on your Facebook page of yourself with your yard's native trees. Make sure you include the tag #MSRTrees and a couple of sentences.

STEM-YEA - DONATIONS NEEDED
**Message form Jane A. Meckes, Nazareth Rotary, District 7430 STEM-YEA Committee

Hi Everyone. Our district committee is busy planning for the upcoming STEMYEA program at Kutztown University.  I am on the committee and in charge of gathering materials. I have created two ways that Rotarians in our District can help provide items that are needed. First is an "Amazon Wish List" if you would like to purchase materials that we need. Any items purchased would be sent directly to me. Second is a recycled material list. You can help us out at no cost to you!  All you have to do is save the materials on the list and bring them to a meeting or event anytime. I already have a bin started for the items I have been collecting.

Here is the link for the Amazon Wish List: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/35ZTJILB1ZGV7

Anything that you could provide would be gratefully appreciated.

Message from Rod Seifert:  Donated recycled items can be given to me at any upcoming meeting.  I will be happy to deliver them to Jane.
