JUL 19, 2021 PDG LINDA YOUNG SERVICES
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Past District Governor Linda R. Young. She was loved by many among Rotary. Her Rotary accomplishments included serving as a multi-year club president, district governor, Rotary Leadership Institute Chair, Welcome to Rotary Chair, and a Rotaplast volunteer.

District Governor Bob Hobaugh sent the following information in regards to her funeral.

DISTRICT SHELTERBOX CHALLENGE
From DG Bob Hobaugh

Please help District 7430 meet a ShelterBox Challenge by September 10, 2021. We hope that each of our 46 Clubs contributes to ShelterBox in 2021 and we ask you to include an amount in your Club budget for the 2021-2022 Rotary Year. We challenge each Club to meet or exceed its prior ShelterBox giving and to give something: $35 will provide a solar light and $100 will buy a tool kit to help rebuild a family’s home. From that budgeted amount, please make a donation at or before our “Stock the Box” celebration on September 10th.  See the attached announcement for more information. ShelterBox recognized our District as the best contributing District in the United States in 2019 and as a “Top 20 District” in 2020.  Thank you.

Editor's Note: MSR has donated at least $1,000/year since 2013.

JUL 06, 2021 MSR DUES
Dues are Due
As the 2021-22 Rotary year begins, we’d like to thank members who have already paid Morning Star Rotary’s 2021-22 full year dues ($200 for July 2021 – June 2022), or the first half dues ($100 for July – December 2021).

Two thirds of Morning Star dues collected actually go to Rotary International (dues and fees) and Rotary District 7430 (dues). To be “fair to all concerned”, if you have not yet paid please do so promptly.

Dues payment options
Mail a check payable to “Morning Star Rotary” to my attention: Jean Searfoss, MSR Treasurer 1409 Bogie Ave, Wescosville, PA 18106.

Or pay online at www.morningstarrotary.org. Use any debit or credit card - you do not need a PayPal account. This gets a little tricky because there’s a specific place for Dues.

First log in in at  www.morningstarrotary.org – Member Login near top right. If you forgot your Login Name or password, click that on the Login screen and ClubRunner will send you an email at your email address in the system.

Scroll down the home page until you see the “Site Pages” section on the left. In that section, click “Pay Dues Online HERE”.

Notes: The PayPal service fee is added so the club receives the full dues amount. You have the option to set up regular payments every six months or once per year.

If you need help logging on ClubRunner, please contact Val Walk or Jean Searfoss.

Thanks!

2021-22 SERVE TO CHANGE LIVES
The new Rotary Theme for 2021-22 is SERVE TO CHANGE LIVES

The biggest gift we are given is the power to touch a life,
To change, to make a difference in the circle of life.

If we can reach out with our hand, heart, and soul,
The Magic will start to happen as the wheel begins to roll.

Let's turn the wheel together so all humanity thrives.
We have the power and the magic to Serve to Change Lives.
