Dear Rotarians, Family, Friends and other Volunteers,
Help prepare over 40,000 meals for the less fortunate members of our area communities by participating in this high impact project on Sat. March 9th. The event will be held at the Moravian College Haupert Student Union Bldg at 1119 Monocacy St. and West Locust St., (the same bldg. as last year). Signup/registration can be easily done by clicking on the link below. Club members can simply pick your shift(s) one at a time, click "Myself", add your cell #, Save, and you're done!
For "Future Rotarians ;-)" signup requires entering the volunteer's name, etc. and checking an email disclaimer box.
A paper signup sheet will also be available at this week's Thursday AM meeting, but if you're not going to be there this week please sign up electronically since Sat. March 9th is rapidly approaching and we need participation commitment ASAP. Many hands make light work!
Wear your stylish Rotarian At Work shirt and make the other volunteer's jealous - they can have one too if they join their local club, right?

What better way to get "hands on" and learn about Rotary while helping our communities.
On Thursday April 11, 2019 we have been invited to participate with Lehigh University/United Nations Partnership and the International Labour Organization (ILO), and attend the "Equitable and Sustainable Future of Work"conference at Lehigh University. Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the ILO, this major UN conference will feature presentations by the UN Assistant Secretary-General and Chief Economist, the Executive Director of the ILO North America, and the PA Secretary of Labor & Industry, among many other dignitaries. For more information on the conference, and to register, click here: https://global.lehigh.edu/un-partnership/future-work-conference The $25 registration fee covers conference admission, a light breakfast. lunch and the reception at the National Museum of Industrial History at the end of the day. This event will replace our regular weekly meeting. So, mark your calendars, invite your colleagues and friends to attend this unique opportunity.
Your $50 ticket for celebrating the FUN in fundraising at the Foundation Gala "Costumes for a Cause," on March 23, 2019 includes dinner (choice of chicken, beef or vegetarian) and dancing. There will be opportunity to bid on silent auction baskets and participate in the 50/50 raffle. Cash bar too!
Why costumes? What a great way to show your "inner Rotarian!" Be creative and have fun expressing your passion for Rotary. Not "into" wearing a costume - why not wear some Rotary "swag?" Or, do you like to dress up for Rotary events? Wear your tuxedos and tiaras.
