A Celebration of Life for Morning Star Rotary charter member, Donald Smith, who passed away on June 20, 2024 will be held on what would have been his 95th birthday this Friday, August 16, 2024, at 10 AM in Crest Hall, Luther Crest, 800 Hausman Road, Allentown, PA.
At our August 8, 2024 club meeting, Katelyn Mack, President & CEO and Krissi Echevarria, DEI Program Manager from LINC Lehigh Valley spoke to our members about the work of their organization. "LINC is a non-profit organization that focuses on supporting employers, relocated employees and the community in matters of partner career, integration assistance and diversity and inclusion. On May 30, club Secretary Val Walk emailed Dues Notice for the 2024-25 Rotary year to all active members. (Rotary’s year runs from July 1 to June 30.) Many thanks to members who have already paid, via check or PayPal!
Please note that, in the process of preparing the 2024-2025 Budget, the Board approved a dues increase to $250.00. While Rotary International dues and District dues have been increasing for many years, Morning Star Rotary dues have remained constant for over 10 years. This was not a decision made lightly by the Board, but a necessary one.
You have the option of paying for the full Rotary year (July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025) or for a half-year (July 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024.)
Instructions for submitting your payment ($250 or $125) were included on the invoice.
