It has been the way of Rotary to focus thought upon matters in which members are in agreement, rather than upon matters in which they are in disagreement.

PDG Doug Cook represented District 7430 recently at the Rotary International Council on Legislation (COL) in Chicago. Every three years representatives from the 535 Districts around the world come together to decide how all Clubs and Rotarians will "live" together to further the work of Rotary.

Over the course of this year, I have shared often about the ever changing world of Rotary. This Thursday, June 20, PDG Doug will join us at our meeting and bring us up to date on the recent changes from the COL.

It impresses on me, how refreshing it is especially in today's world, to hear Paul Harris' words. I have observed this year the dedicated work of our club members in areas that bring us all together in service and fellowship. I am proud to be a part of it!

PAUL HARRIS FELLOW CELEBRATION

At our May 30 Club Assembly we had the opportunity to celebrate our latest Rotary Foundation supporters. Tom Hartzell presented PHF awards to President Janet Kolepp +6, Rodney Conn, Robin Metzler +2, Marianne Aronson who surprised husband Steve with his first PHF. A special recognition and grateful thank you to our Past President Tom Kolepp who has become a member of the Paul Harris Society ($1,000/year).

Congratulations to all and thank you for helping Rotary do more good in the world!

MSR 4 ACES 50/50 $18 50 cards

At our May 30 meeting we agreed that the winner of the MSR 4 ACES would be responsible to provide a new deck of cards for the following meeting to start the new cycle.

Thanks to last winner Rodney Conn for a new deck of cards so the fun-raising may continue.
