FUN-DRAZING SEASON IS UPON US!

Last week, we had the opportunity to get our “hands dirty” in the best possible way: volunteering with one of our grantees, One House at a Time’s (OHAAT) Beds for Kids program. It was a great reminder of what Rotary is all about: showing up, pitching in, and making a tangible difference in people’s lives.

This past Friday also marked our first First Friday of the season, officially kicking off fundraising season (for those who celebrate!) We raised some money, sold some beer, and had a great time doing it.

Now, with Summer upon us, there are plenty of opportunities ahead to roll up your sleeves, have some fun, help us raise the funds that power everything we do, and get involved in the community. Rotary isn’t a spectator sport–we all joined to be an active, engaged member of this community. So come get your hands dirty with us!

Upcoming Opportunities:

Spring Cleanup with SAAC – May 16
Get your green thumbs ready as we team up to revitalize the grounds of the Senior Adult Activities Center of Montgomery County.

Arts & Music Fest – June 19 & 20
This is our biggest fundraising push of the year, and we’ll need all hands on deck. Mark your calendars now—you won’t want to miss it.

More details and volunteer sign-ups will be coming your way soon, so keep an eye on your inbox.

Yours in Rotary, Tara

THE BLUEST OF HAPPY HOURS

Members of Ambler Rotary joined the Blue Bell Rotary this April for a lively happy hour gathering. It was a great opportunity to exchange ideas, strengthen connections, and explore ways our clubs can collaborate in the year ahead to better serve our communities and expand our shared impact.

STUDENT OF THE MONTH!

Our April student of the month is Maddie Kalikhman of Germantown Academy who spoke to the Ambler Rotary. She was welcomed with her parents Lawrence and Gabrielle Kalikhman by Rotarian Dick Target.
