Spring has officially sprung, and that means it's time to start marking your calendars all of the exciting upcoming volunteer opportunities coming down the pipe.

First Fridays – After a successful test run, we've decided to start serving beer at First Fridays in downtown Ambler starting in May!

Spring Cleanup with SAAC - May 16th! Get your green thumbs ready, as we'll be joining hands to help revitalize the grounds of the Senior Adult Activities Center of Montgomery County (SAAC).

Arts and Music Fest – June 19th and 20th! This is our biggest fundraising push of the year, and we'll need all hands on deck! Mark your calendars now!

SPEAKING OF SCAVENGER HUNT!

Thanks to the hard work and effort of our fellow Rotarians, Ambler Rotary's inaugural Spring Scavenger Hunt was a rousing success, with over 30 businesses participating and over 200 Scavengers Scavenging throughout the day. Simply incredible!

ROTARY SPOTLIGHTS

• Shout out to Steve Bass for using his 50/50 winnings to finish his Paul Harris Fellowship! We're all jealous and proud.

• Speaking of Steve Bass, the Fariwold Interact club  is installing a brand new greenhouse on campus (with Rotary donating the platform!). This initiative will provide students with hands-on learning opportunities while supporting sustainability!

• Shout out to Clint Ehlers, Mark Grey, and Blake Kennedy for securing and building out our brand new trailer! RIP to the old trailer. Though it was too small, it served us well. (Also: huge thanks to Greg Marinucci for donating flooring.)

• Shout out to Deirdre Marino for organizing the a new initiative to better connect members with the impact of our grantmaking. Throughout the year, we’ll organize opportunities to visit partner organizations and see firsthand how our support is making a difference in the community. The first visit is scheduled for April 29 with One House at a Time (OHAAT). Members are invited! More info to follow
