At our meeting on Friday, November 4th, Lisa Luciano was presented with her Paul Harris+1 (PH+1) Fellow lapel pin by Mike Orbin. She made PH+1 on August 2, 2022.

Lisa joins five (5) other active ARC members as Paul Harris Fellows at the PH+1 recognition level and is one of 13 active members with multiple Paul Harris Fellows who have been contributing $2,000 and above. We are very proud to share that our Club has a total of 26 Active members as Paul Harris members.

The Paul Harris Fellow recognition acknowledges individuals who contribute, or who have contributions made in their name, of $1,000 to The Rotary Foundation. Rotary established the recognition in 1957 to encourage and show appreciation for substantial contributions. The number of Paul Harris Fellows reached the 1 million mark in 2006.

Lisa is receiving a F+1 Blue Stone Lapel Pin

November is Rotary Foundation Month.

The Rotary Foundation’s mission is to advance world understanding, goodwill and peace. Rotary Foundation grants promote peace, fight disease, provide clean water and sanitation, sustain mothers and children, improve education, and strengthen local economies.

Every Rotarian should strive to be a Paul Harris Fellow because for each PHF named, we know that $1,000 has been given to The Rotary Foundation. Similarly, for each sapphire or ruby added to a Rotarian’s PHF pin, an additional US$1000 has been given to The Rotary Foundation. We should celebrate each of these milestones (and gem stones) for what they represent. That is a gift to The Rotary Foundation and an opportunity to do even more in the world through the Foundation.
