We have great news to share on the current happenings within the Interact Club. After a successful kickoff meeting and Open House Night- we currently have 59 students signed up for the 2019-2020 school year! 59 students...can you imagine the possibilities this year could bring?
Speaking of members, I have included a few pictures of club members I’d like to introduce to Rotary. The first picture (above) shows two of the three Camp Neidig participants: Odesstyni Mitter and Jahnya Jordan (not pictured is Jadean Nicholas). They have shared their camp yearbooks and had many great stories to reminisce about.
Next are our new officers for the 2019-2020 school year: Senior Daniel Perez-treasurer. Senior Dannica Mitchell- Secretary. Senior Bailey Antipas- President. Senior Samantha Juarez- Vice President. The last picture shows their excitement as I was able to shout, “smile and say we’re the new officers!” The surprised energy shows and I wanted to share the moment with you.I’d like to end by sharing a sincere thank you from the members and myself for the Rotary Interact T-shirts. They have been a huge hit and many of the new members are looking forward to participating in the first service event so they can EARN a shirt!
