Our first meeting of 2022 will be IN PERSON at The Market: Allentown Food Hall, 27 N. 7th Street. It is right on the ArtsWalk, next to Blended. Mike Orbin & Rolf Schlake will be presenting an update on STEM YEA.
Here's a link to the 9 food vendors at the Allentown Food Hall and some special notes:
- They will reserve the back space for us. It will be roped off with a reserved for private event sign.
- We ask you to arrive early and order food from one of the 9 vendors and then bring it to the meeting space. If you just want coffee or nothing at all, that is your choice.
- They will provide a speaker stand and microphone for use and there will be a large screen TV for presentations.
- Given current COVID condition, members are strongly encouraged to wear a mask, unless seated - regardless of vaccination status.
- AND, given the current weather report, please check email Friday morning before leaving for the meeting if road conditions are icy, snowy or dangerous. The meeting will be cancelled if it is not safe to drive that morning.
This is not necessarily a permanent choice as our location for in person meetings, but it is an easy, non-committal first step to try to meet again in person. Preliminary results from our phone surveys of members indicate that everyone wants to get back to safe, in-person meetings and that most members are in favor of rotating between Zoom and in-person meetings.
