Jeffrey Scott Carroll, Lgh Cnty Conservation Distr
History of the Spotted Lanternfly in US: current methods to stop spread of this invasive pest

Jeffrey Carroll graduated from East Stroudsburg University with a B.S. in Environmental Science with a focus on water quality and entomology. Jeffrey spent twelve years serving Penn State University; first as a biological field technician and then as a program coordinator for the Lehigh and Northampton County Gypsy Moth programs. Jeffrey went on to become the regional Vector borne disease control coordinator for Lehigh and Northampton Counties and is now serving the Lehigh County Conservation District as the Human & Environmental Health Coordinator. Jeffrey has a passion for the environment and protecting public health. In addition to his work with the conservation district he also serves as the Vice President of the Pennsylvania Vector Control Association which is an organization dedicated to reducing vectors and vector borne diseases within the commonwealth.
