ABE Airport New Developments

Matt is the current Chairman of the Lehigh Valley International Airport Board of Governors.  He also serves on the Board of Trustees at the Swain School.  For the past seven years he has worked at the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation (LVDEC) where he is Vice President of Business Attraction, Retention and Expansion and is responsible for attracting business investment and jobs to the Lehigh Valley and managing a team of marketing and development professionals dedicated to increasing awareness of the region’s opportunities. Prior to joining LVEDC, Matt worked with Allentown Economic Development Corporation to build that organization’s capacity, including launching Lehigh Valley’s first coworking space and helping found the Hive 4A makerspace. Before entering the field of economic development, Matt worked in out-of-home media in Panama. Matt completed a BS in International Business from College of Charleston and his IMBA from University of South Carolina. Matt grew up in East Stroudsburg and Boulder, Colorado, and now lives in Allentown with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys running marathons and learning new languages, currently working on Chinese and Arabic.
