The Art of Auctioneering

Tyler Stalletti’s grandfather, Kevin Smith, was the owner of K.D. Smith Auctions which has been in business for over 30 years. Ownership has recently changed to his uncle, Kyle Smith (Kevin’s son). K.D. Smith Auctions is located in the Lehigh Valley, right off of Lehigh Street near the auto mile. Kevin remains involved in the daily operations and is a key member of the business. He also performs live auctions for many local charities and organizations annually.  In 2014, Kevin was awarded the Pennsylvania Auctioneer of the Year by the Pennsylvania Auctioneers Association. He currently serves on the Board of the Quakertown Rotary Club and was a past President.  

The picture depicts Kevin when he received the Auctioneer of the year award (2014) with the family. Everyone in the picture has played an active role in the company throughout the years other than Tyler Stalletti’s sister (with the pink bow).
