In 2015 their youngest daughter was graduating from high school, prompting them to start thinking about what would be our next adventure! As they love to work together, they considered several businesses to launch here in the Lehigh Valley. When the Chocolate Works business model was discovered, they knew they had found what they needed. Bringing an experiential chocolate store specializing in custom Belgian chocolate gifts, treats, and parties to our area became their passion.

Chocolate Works was the perfect canvas to use their combined 50 years of experience in retail and customer service and bring the BEST chocolate to the Lehigh Valley. As part of this journey, they have expanded the business through offering Fruit Bouquets and Shari’s Berries. 

Now, they are VERY excited to introduce you to Christmas City Chocolates! They love being around Bethlehem, Pennsylvania – known as Christmas City! Always full of charm, the city becomes magical during the Christmas season. Christmas City Chocolates was born!

Pat & Kelly Messman live in Bethlehem with their old dog gal Sadie. Their youngest Toni, is now the Marketing and Sales Manager and resides in Easton, PA. The oldest Carlye is living her dream in New York City but can be found helping them in the store whenever she is in town.
