COVID Update and Allentown

Vicky Kistler is the Health Director for Allentown, Pennsylvania,  the third largest city in Pennsylvania. She has served in this capacity for the past 13 years overseeing personal and environmental health services which includes public health emergency preparedness, maternal child health services, restaurant and daycare licensure and inspection,  communicable diisease investigation and control, chronic disease prevention and injury prevention. 

For 14 years prior, Vicky was the Communicable Disease Manager for the city.  Her previous experience includes managing a shelter for the homeless and implementing a pregnancy program that was successful in reducing the number of low birthweight babies born to latinx women. Vicky received her Masters Degree in Education – Community Counseling from Lehigh University and was born and raised in Allentown.
