St Luke's Sacred Heart Campus
421 W. Chew Street
2nd floor Conference Room 1 AB
Allentown, PA  18102
United States of America

Members and guests are invited to join us for wine & cheese. We'll hear from Frank Ford, President/CEO who will update us on the recently completed $31 million renovation to the 100 year old campus. St. Luke's has upgraded numerous buildings and patient floors  while strengthening and expanding existing health care services to a previously underserved neighborhood. The 4,000-square-foot Sigal Center clinic at 450 Chew St. is now the largest clinic in the St. Luke's network.

We will have the opportunity to see the facility's new education center intended to host educational seminars and community events. Included is a 240 seat auditorium where community partners can work together to improve health care access for residents of center city Allentown.

St. Luke’s plans to use the Sacred Heart campus as a bridge to the surrounding inner-city neighborhoods and work to improve the health of the community by tackling the social factors -- like access to housing, jobs, education and food -- that are critical determinants in a person’s health.

“St. Luke’s can be a catalyst for transforming the inner city,” Ford said.

The health center model is one of the most comprehensive and effective ways to reach underserved populations, he said. Sacred Heart’s education center and 240-seat auditorium is getting an overhaul so it can host educational seminars and community events.

“We want St. Luke’s Sacred Heart to be a hub for the community. We will create a vibrant venue for community partners to work together to improve health care access for the residents of center city Allentown,” Ford said."

Join us for an opportunity to visit and learn about this project directly from Frank. A former Allentown Rotarian, he and St. Luke's are focused on critical aspects of humanitarian service that distinguish both organizations.
