Sip & Share @ Six with Kilimanjaro Distillery

Join us for a fun virtual Happy Hour with the Kilimanjaro Distillery, maker of Xplorer Spirits, located in Allentown, PA. Kishor Chokshi, owner, and his daughter, Niky, will give us a virtual tour and information session of their 4,000 sq ft state-of-the-art distillery, their products, and company history.

Kishor, who was a Rotarian in Tanzania prior to immigrating to the United States, is offering Rotary Club Members and Happy Hour Guests a SPECIALLY PRICED "Cocktails-to-Go" package.  The regular price is $10.00/cocktail. Club members can get 3 cocktails for the price of 2 ($20.00).  Kilimanjaro Distillery will donate 10% of all Xplorer Spirits bottle purchases by members during this period to the Meals on Wheels of the Lehigh Valley.  (Valid through Aug 31,2020).

Kishor’s story began in Dar-es-Salaam, where he and his family spent Sundays doing charitable work among underprivileged communities. This first-hand awareness of the value of opportunity, along with his natural curiosity, led him to explore medicine, business, and aviation, obtaining his MD, MBA and pilot’s license. His varied career has found him running distillation and purification facilities, as well as an edible oil production venture. At Kilimanjaro Distillery, he comes full circle, using his love of science to carefully craft small batch spirits in Allentown, where the distillery helps diversify and revitalize the local economy.

Niky’s journey has been fueled by a passion for bringing together people of diverse backgrounds to make the world a richer place. She’s explored the nature of connection and collaboration, and its power to drive meaningful change. Her work has led her around the globe and across disciplines, with contributions in global health and social entrepreneurship.

Because she knows that every choice one makes impacts people and the environment everywhere, a percentage of all profits from Xplorer Spirits is used to provide clean drinking water to communities in need through the Tanzania Water Project and to the local Meals on Wheels Pennsylvania community. The Chokshi family believes everyone’s life is a unique journey to be savored through genuine experiences and meaningful connections.
