President Greg's final message

At the beginning of the Rotary Year I asked you to “Do Rotary Different”.  Our club does a lot of great things and we should be proud of our accomplishments!  We need to evolve to ensure that we continue to succeed.  Hence the idea of “Do Rotary Different”.
Our membership has dwindled to half of what it was 20 years ago.  Do Rotary Different by asking someone to join us.  The number of people coordinating speakers each month has dropped from 12 people handling each month to 6, some taking on 2-3 months.  If you want to have quality programs, Do Rotary Different and take on a month.  Our golf outing has done a tremendous job of raising money for all of the programs that we have chosen to support.  This year, we received a little over $158,000 in requests.  Wouldn’t it be awesome if we could increase the amount of money that we could provide to our local organizations, our Students from York Suburban, York County of Technology & York Catholic, and our International Mission Trips?  Do Rotary Different and lets make our goal $25,000 instead of $20,000.
Our Rotary Year changes at the end of June & this is my last newsletter article.  I hope you do as much as you can to support Kris and her year as President.
