My year as President is flying by and with it, I’m checking things off my to do list. With eighteen guests on April 28th, I am thrilled with the response for our Membership Drive. Whether you invited someone or entertained one of our guests that day, you all played a part in that meeting. A few are submitting their applications while some are taking deliberate consideration. All our guests will receive our weekly meeting email that hits your inbox on Sunday during the month of May. It will include an invitation to join us on any Tuesday at the nonmember rate of $15. When I was introduced to Rotary, I wasn’t sure I could make a 7:30am meeting on a regular basis. I will always remember Roger Dick, the Membership Chair in 2014, inviting me to try it out for a few weeks before making my decision. The rest is history!
The next event on my checklist is our annual Golf Tournament on Tuesday, June 16th at 9am. You heard from a few of our committee chairs last week about some of our Club activities. It is funds raised at our Golf Tournament that allow us to offer student scholarships, RYLA attendance, grants to nonprofits and other activities our club does. Please consider playing as a Sponsor or individual golfer. Not a golfer? Sand Trap level sponsor is available for non-golfers.
Your participation is crucial to its success. The Golf Committee is hard at work and will appreciate it.
See you at Rotary,
Kris
Don't forget, if you miss a meeting you can always watch the Youtube video on our Clubrunner homepage.
