Meet Harrisburg School District's new Superintendent, Eric Turnman!
We'll hear about the successes and challenges that the Harrisburg School District is experiencing, as well as what we can expect from the district for the rest of the school year. We'll also celebrate our fundraising success from "Pancakes for a Purpose" and present the proceeds to the Harrisburg Public Schools Foundation to serve students experiencing homelessness.

Service on a Monday!
Thank you everyone who served at the  Capital Blue Cross Connect Enola at our #ServiceonaMonday event for Hospice of Central PA! We had fun and fellowship while enjoying a delicious lunch from Healthy You Cafe and assembling care kits for hospice patients and caregivers! Every resident at the The Campus of the Jewish Home of Greater Harrisburg will receive a kit that includes hand lotion, lip balm, tissues and more. The remaining kits will go to hospice patients and their caregivers in residential communities and at home. Thank you Rotarians!
Service on a Monday
is scheduling projects for 2022.
We are looking for projects for our Service on a Mondays. The project is held on a Monday from Noon – 2:00 pm and generally we have 20 or so Rotarians.  If you have an idea, please email Sue Ward-Diorio, and the Service on a Monday Committee will be in touch.
Meeting Format Changes
1. Staffed Buffet Instead of Banquet
Our club's board made the decision to revert to a staffed buffet, as the banquet-style luncheons have been causing logistical issues and distractions during meetings. The Hilton staff will wear masks and gloves, and we ask that all club members follow the CDC's indoor masking guidelines as well.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to allow yourself time to move through the buffet and be seated before President Matt calls the meeting to order at 12:00.
2. Registration Optional
Registration is encouraged, but no longer required to attend meetings in person. Pre-registering sends a calendar invitation to your email inbox and helps ensure that the appropriate amount of food is available.
3. Continue to Follow CDC Masking Guidelines
The CDC recommends that all individuals 2 years of age and older wear masks in public indoor settings in areas of "Substantial" or "High" transmission rates.
"In Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, community transmission is High Transmission.

Everyone should wear a mask in public indoor settings."

4. Virtual Meeting Available

Our Tech Team has been hard at work providing a high-quality virtual meeting experience for our club members and guests. If you are not vaccinated, not feeling well, or have a possible exposure to COVID-19, the club's board of directors kindly asks that you enjoy our virtual meeting experience instead of attending in person.
